Luxury Wedding Ideas You’ll Love

Most people believe that luxury weddings cost a lot. Of course, they definitely do come at a hefty price when thinking of the traditional sense of the word “luxury - but the truth is that you can still have a stunning wedding that looks utterly opulent and elegant without spending a lot on it.

What are some budget-friendly luxury wedding ideas both you and your guests will love? Here are some wonderful suggestions:

  •        Pop open one of those really big bottles of champagne. They are much less expensive than it may seem, and even if they fall in the higher price range, they are worth every penny. There’s something really luxurious, elegant, and festive about those bottles that makes them the perfect addition to a delicious wedding cake.
  •       Not sure about the big bottle of champagne? How about some smaller ones – or, to be more precise, mini-bottles of champagne as wedding favors? You can personalize their label with your wedding date or a cute message and they can be kept by the guests as a souvenir of your Big Day too. Plus, let’s face it: they are absolutely adorable too!
  •        If you want your ceremony to feel as if it was torn out of a real-life fairytale, invest in a truly over-the-top backdrop for the altar. Even a very simple space (such as a classic backyard) will be instantly styled-up if you create a gorgeous backdrop made out of blooms, greenery, or even unique items (such as old photos or vinyl discs).

We bet you want to enjoy your engagement and the months leading up to the Big Day – and we have some great news for you: we can actually help you plan the perfect wedding without the slightest trace of stress in your life! Gorgeous Wedding Stationery Ideas

Your wedding stationery needs to be fully coordinated with your wedding theme – and if you want your Big Day to be centered on a vintage concept, your invitations and day-of stationery will make no exception from the aforementioned rule.

How do you create gorgeous wedding stationery? We have some pretty ideas for you – read on if you are looking for some inspiration.

  •  Scrapbook-inspired. Looking for a cute, feminine, yet sentimental way of designing your wedding stationery? How about creating a design that’s inspired by old-school scrapbooks? Not only does this give you the opportunity to add a few emotional elements into the wedding invitations, but they will also have that cute 60s vibe everyone loves.
  •   Chalkboard-inspired. Remember how all couples used chalkboard signs for their wedding décor? Well, that’s still trendy – but if you want to push it to a whole new level, you can use the same inspiration for your wedding stationery. With an antique-looking “frame”, your invitations will look absolutely charming!
  •  Vintage garden-inspired. Since it’s summer outside, some of you may want to have a garden wedding with vintage notes. And yes, you can totally coordinate your stationery with that kind of theme too! With the right pastel and vintage-looking colors, a garden-themed wedding stationery design can win everyone’s hearts – both before, and during the Big Day.

Top Attire Tips for Wedding Guests

You may definitely not want to feel like the most important person in the room when attending a wedding – but from this to feeling underdressed (or even overdressed), there is a very long way. How to make sure you dress properly to the weddings you’ve been invited to this summer? We have some tips for you – so read on and find out more.

  •        Read the invitation – it will almost always contain information about a dress code. Because the invitation space is limited, you may not get very specific rules from reading this – but you might find them on the couple’s wedding website, or by simply researching what a specific dress code means.
  •        For instance, “casual attire” means that you can leave the tuxedo (and even suit) home and dress in something a bit more relaxed – such as dress pants and a shirt, or a nice low-key elegant dress. However, it DOES NOT mean that you are allowed to come to the wedding wearing jeans (unless the couple specifies this as part of their wedding theme).
  •        Furthermore, no matter what dress code you have to follow, make sure your clothes are tasteful and nice. You don’t need to dress expensive – but keeping it low-toned, not flashy, and not overly provocative can go a long way. The bride and the groom are the stars of the show – you surely don’t want to steal their spotlight with a dress that’s too flashy or a tuxedo in very bright colors, do you?

Can You Skip Inviting Family to the Wedding?

Planning a wedding is never easy – and one of the hardest parts is creating a guest list that makes everyone happy (you, your parents, and everyone else present at the wedding). For example, some of you may think you can never skip inviting extended family members to the wedding – but, as problematic as this may be, you can actually avoid doing this altogether.

How to act when you don’t want distant relatives to be invited at your wedding? We have some tips for you – read on and find out more.

·        First and foremost, be completely and utterly honest about this. Dusting it under the carpet will only generate more problems – so, whenever you are asked, simply be honest and say you don’t want to invite extended family because you don’t know them or because it will push you over your budget. It may be difficult for your parents to accept this, but they will eventually understand you.
·        Furthermore, keep in mind that you should not be rude about it. Avoid fighting, stand your ground, and keep the same explanation for everyone – doing all this will help you avoid too much drama and resentment.
·        Lastly, don’t forget that you do invite a lot of family members too – make the entire wedding experience totally unforgettable for them. Welcome bags for out of town guests, excellent food and drinks at the wedding, quality entertainment – they all help creating memories everyone will cherish for a long time to come. Make this a happy event for your guests – just as it is for you too!
